Abstract
The use of questionnaires to explore mathematics teacher’s specialised knowledge is an emerging area of study. This paper describes the process followed for the design of a semi-structured questionnaire task. It is concluded that the Mathematics Teacher’s SpecialisedKnowledge model can be used as a guide for the design of the task and the concreteness of the knowledge it is intended to explore/construct inpreservice primary teachers.
