Abstract

The overall objective of our research is to detect stress of the Professor of mathematics in secondary sources. To do so, and after an extensive literature search, we discovered that there is no specific instrument for this group and this motivated us to the construction of a scale. The process started with a literature review of sources of stress for teachers, which were classified in order to reduce their number. With resulting sources we created a scale, which was applied to 5 professors of mathematics high school. A discussion group was then created. With the results we are amending the initial scale, including peculiarities of this group, and create a final scale.
