Barban Franceschi

Coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) and Academic Director of the Ibero-American Design Biennial (BID). PhD Cum Laude in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Architect and Urban Planner, holding master’s degrees in Design and Innovation, Industrial Design, and Art, Creation and Research. She has extensive national and international teaching experience, both in face-to-face and online formats, across undergraduate, master’s, and specialized programs. She is a researcher at Vivid – Universidad Internacional de La Rioja, and a Researcher at iA Lab DES’SIDE – UBI*. Her research focuses on educational innovation, design methodologies and processes, and circular design. She has participated in numerous national and international research teams, serving as principal investigator for three years at the Steelcase Chair on Educational Spaces and Equipment.
