Abstract

The Russian aggression against Ukraine and the threat of nuclear weapons being used have put the problem of nuclear non-proliferation and the treaty controlling this issue back into the spotlight. The meeting of the signatories to this treaty, held in New York in August, did not manage to achieve its most ambitious objectives.
