Abstract

The article analyses a recent award of the Court of Arbitration for Sport in which an appeal against a disciplinary sanction imposed by CONMEBOL on a club for the racist behaviour of its fans was settled. The award is of particular importance as it deals with key aspects of racist disciplinary proceedings in football.
