Metodologías participativas y manejo de áreas protegidas. Un Sistema de Información Geográfica de Participación Pública (SIGPP) en el parque natural del Delta del Ebro (España)

Resum

Resumen: Este artículo describe un Sistema de Información Geográfica de Participación Pública (SIGPP) diseñado para ayudar al manejo del Parque Natural del Delta del Ebro (España). El ejercicio se presenta en forma de cuestionario en línea y se diseñó teniendo en cuenta aspectos científicos y técnicos expresados por los gestores del espacio natural. Se preguntó a los usuarios del parque acerca de la percepción y vivencias asociadas al paisaje, sobre uso público, y sobre actividades recreativas, y se les solicitó que proporcionaran respuestas georreferenciadas en un mapa en línea. Se colectaron 209 respuestas válidas y 4.467 opiniones. Los datos proporcionados se tradujeron en mejoras de manejo, que incluyeron la instalación de indicadores y la limpieza de áreas percibidas sucias por los usuarios. Los gestores del parque valoraron positivamente el papel del ejercicio SIGPP, por proporcionar evidencias geolocalizadas que facilitaron el consenso entre los agentes implicados en el manejo del lugar.
