Zusammenfassung
In this paper we present a study on personal and professional competences that students should have in order to facilitate their mobility, both at national and international level, within the European Space for Higher Education (ESHE). Improvement of mobility is one of the key aspects to achieve ESHE objectives. Our study starts by identifying main competences of Erasmus students, which usually are more motivated for international mobility. Data for this identification have been collected by means of specially designed surveys, and are afterwards compared with mean competences of students from universities participating in this study. After identifying these key competences, our study proposes a competencetraining plan that can be implemented in any higher education course, which encourages personal and professional abilities of students in order to increase their interest in international mobility and cultural exchange.
