Within the institutions that make up society, the hospital institutions dedicated to the care of people with disabilities are spaces that should have a constant review of their social and health intervention practices, at the same time, while assessing their own institutional management practices, given the impact they generate on the people who are assisted and accompanied by them. Likewise, disability is a subject that requires permanent attention and study given its multidimensional and cross-cutting perspective throughout society. This paper seeks to approach to think, in a context where many people suffer from some kind of intellectual disability, the relationship of institutional management models with their daily actions. It is observed that the social model of disability is consolidated as a hospital management model dedicated to the permanent search for responsible and inclusive interventions.
