Abstract

Knowledge society is as changeable and variable as the ways of naming it. It comes as a result of scientific advancements as well as cultural interests within society. One of the principal characteristics of this society is the great influence that the mass media, the communication networks and new technologies have on our lives. All the information becomes more visual, more rapid and more accessible, with a massive growth in all the social and economic strata, with new channels of communication and enormous quantities of informative resources. This takes us to new values and new social behavior rules, new symbols, structures of knowledge transmission and organisation of the information. All of this contributes to new and evolved visions of the world in which we live which changes and influences our behavior. As a result this is what we have to work on.
