Abstract

The personal data protection system needs to be applied to the judiciary courts combining its own guarantees with the procedural rights. The Justice Administration has a complex organization that makes extremely difficult to build an efficient system in order to protect the great amount of personal information accumulated in the judicial offices. The main challenges would be to define the key concepts of the personal data protection system so that they can be identified within the structure of the Justice Administration and to find the right balance between the data protection procedures and the independence of the judiciary.
