Revisión contextual para la interpretación del análisis de riesgo geopolítico

Resumen

El riesgo geopolítico muestra un protagonismo esencial en el campo internacional. En este documento se identifican algunos de los principales componentes que se pueden utilizar en el análisis de riesgo geopolítico como objeto de estudio dentro de los negocios internacionales. Asimismo se construye una propuesta que expone los principales factores y aspectos que deben tenerse en cuenta a nivel teórico dentro de este tipo de estudios. De este modo, a nivel metodológico se plantea una investigación descriptiva enfocada en la producción de literatura de carácter científico sobre el comportamiento del análisis de riesgo geopolítico, a fin de contextualizar sobre la relevancia de este tema. Luego en los resultados se identifican las publicaciones en este campo, autores destacados, como también las áreas de investigación y se construye además un compendio de indicadores que puede resultar útil, como herramienta para la medición del análisis de riesgo geopolítico, en el proceso de toma de decisiones dentro de los negocios internacionales. Se concluye, que el presente objeto de estudio se hace cada vez más importante para las empresas internacionalizadas y que la condición multidisciplinar del mismo incide en la creación de diversas metodologías que hacen más efectiva la toma de decisiones.
