Abstract
Video game competitions, i.e. eSports, have established themselves as a global entertainment industry in which multiple legal conflicts are generated. This article explains the legal problems of eSports and, after analysing their current complicated institutional framework, discusses the various existing legal venues for the resolution of eSports disputes. It ends with a series of proposals for the International Olympic Committee to accept eSports within the Olympic Movement.
