Résumé

Although children with cancer are considered high-risk population for COVID-19 infection, available data continue to be scarce. We present all 15 pediatric oncology patients infected with COVID-19 in Madrid to date, at the center of the pandemic. All patients presented with either asymptomatic, or mild-moderate disease; only two required oxygen therapy. All patients had favorable outcomes. The prevalence of COVID-19 infection among children with cancer in Madrid is 1.3%. Although this patient population is managed as high-risk, the clinical features seem milder and the prognosis better than in the adult population.
