The human expert is understood as a source of knowledge about the field we want to know. That perception about the human expert gives us no room to doubt about his reliability.This article is devoted to analysing the figure of the human expert. The article begins analysing the expert’s relationship with his environment and continues giving some clues about the main features that give the human the tag of expert: his brain, his intelligence, his expertise and his memory.The article analyses also the relationship between memory and intuition, wondering about the acceptance of a human as an expert without a previous verification
