Resumen

The use of teaching styles depend on the objective of the exercises, which are carry out. The same way, there also are differences with respect to teaching styles accepted by the student. So, this research is carried out to know the frequency of using of teaching style base on the contents and the frequency of teaching style which are most accepted by the student base on the perception of teachers. For this, is used a sample of 455 Physical Education teachers which teach in primary and secondary stage in the Community of Madrid, carrying out a descriptive analysis through frequencies. The most significant results show that the teaching styles used more frequently depend on the contents, using the traditional style more frequently for contents which are about teaching sport and physical condition. Teaching styles that involve the student cognitively for the content, which are about motor perception stimulation. In addition, the socializing and cognitive teaching styles for the contents, which are about physical activity and health and social interaction. There also differences with respect to teaching style which are most accepted by student depend on the course and stage, being these styles which allow greatest autonomy according to student promote the course.
