Abstract

From the multiple correlations that allow the reading of the cultural workers in the face of the digital emergency, from its political, cultural and cognitive dimension, this research seeks to propose the logic of Care as the task of this subject in the Present, a task that, well projected, manages to generate conditions of security, trust and capacity for love that are ideal for developing later inherently human contemplatives and, from there, deploying the superior functions of thought so that the subject can take charge of their destiny. For this, we go through different empirical and observable references of reality, based on the epistemic matrix of the present potential articulated to Latin American critical thought, with the aim of interpreting the different historical emergencies that went through the life of the researcher and, thus, build an alternative proposal of how to think of oneself as a cultural worker, what from now on we will call Popular Caregivers.
