Abstract

This paper addresses technology's impact on women's labour rights, analyzing the challenges and opportunities. It is true that automation and digitization can contribute to improved efficiency, but it can also pose a risk of increasing gender inequalities in employment. Women often face barriers to accessing well-paid technology jobs and are susceptible to the digital divide. The paper finds that while technology offers opportunities for flexible working, teleworking, and networking through digital platforms, it can become an obstacle for women because of stereotypes and traditionally assigned roles.
