El documental interactivo como herramienta en la museografía interactiva

Abstract

The interactive documentary is an emergent audiovisual format, its characteristics, breaks with the unidirectional communicative models, and involves the user in a dialogue with the narrative. The physical participation in the story, and even the possibility to contributing to it, transform the roles of user-author-protagonist of the documentary that become in fluid roles. In addition, now is possible use involving sensors in interactive experiences, and expanding the documentary to other platforms, to continue the experience beyond the museum. As well, the interactive documentary is been implemented within the audiovisual anthropology as a research tool. That could allow work with open and constantly evolving projects. All these elements transform the interactive documentary in a very interesting resource for building immersive and challenging pedagogic experiences, that allow an actively knowledge building and in which story is articulated and expanded by multiple platforms, receiving feedback of the public within and outside the museum. In recent years, we have seen how interactive documentary has been enriched in environments that foster presence as the virtual and augmented reality. There is no doubt that a strategy that take advantage of the necessary resources for each exhibition challenge, could transform the visit to the museum. In this presentation, we will analyze the possibilities offered by the interactive documentary as an exhibition tool for interactive museography, visit some projects with interactive audiovisual proposals and offer a transmedia strategy that takes advantage of gamification.
