Resumen

 La protección medioambiental, un asunto de notable seriedad y relevancia en diversas esferas, se encuentra en el epicentro de una revolución financiera. Recientemente, una novedosa criptomoneda, denominada “Ecomoneda”, ha surgido con el objetivo de fomentar el comercio y las inversiones de carácter sostenible, convirtiéndose en un fenómeno de gran interés en algunas naciones. Este fenómeno financiero plantea, sin embargo, una serie de desafíos jurídicos que merecen un análisis exhaustivo. En este sentido, nuestro estudio se propone examinar el entramado de cuestiones legales que rodean a la Ecomoneda, y se esfuerza por arrojar luz sobre su marco regulatorio, las implicaciones de su utilización y otras consideraciones normativas que emergen con relación a su implementación y funcionamiento.
