Resum

This study carry out an analysis of the solfeggio discipline in the early years of the Maria Cristina Royal Conservatory of Music and Declamation. It is analysed the regulations for this class, teachers and students, according to their classification in specialty, gender and condition within the institution, as well as the evaluation process, which will allow setting the nationalist orientation and Italian and French influences in the process of creating the solfeggio class. The regulations and teaching plans of solfeggio, personal files of teachers, monthly book of parts, legajos and minutes, which on a practical level inform us of what happened in these classes, will be the sources that will allow an analysis of the historical framework of the institution and, in particular, of the solfeggio class in the years of government and regency of María Cristina de Borbón.
