“Conociendo mi ciudad con una mirada matemática” Una experiencia de aula en Educación Infantil

Abstract
In this article we present a classroom experience entitled "Knowing my city with a mathematical look" with students of Early Childhood Education of a concerted educational center, located in the city of Salamanca. With this experience, mathematical contents are used as the main axis, using as a base representative monuments of Salamanca, the Plaza Mayor, the Casa de las Conchas and the University. The results show how students acquire geometric contents, numbering contents and algebra contents, from their closest environment, as well as knowledge of a cultural nature, favoring contextualization and in turn employing the game and Information Technologies and Communication (ICT) part of the experience.
