Revisión de la investigación científica en ISO 9001 e ISO 14001un análisis bibliométrico.

Objetivos de desarrollo sostenible

Resumen

Este artículo realiza un estudio bibliométrico a través de la base de datos Web of Science (WoS) para conocer el estado del arte de las normas ISO 9001 e ISO 14001. Para ello, se hace una búsqueda de publicaciones, desde el año de publicación de cada una de las normas hasta 2018. La principal contribución de este trabajo es aportar una visión sobre las líneas de investigación desarrolladas hasta la fecha, analizando los países, las instituciones, los autores más productivos, así como las principales revistas científicas que publican en la materia. Se han identificado 3 líneas principales de investigación para la ISO 9001 afines con su compresión y beneficios, su integración con otros sistemas de gestión, y su relación el desempeño financiero de las empresas. Por su parte en el caso de la ISO 14001 destacan 4 líneas de investigación asociadas a su relación con el desempeño financiero y el desarrollo sostenible, su integración con otros sistemas de gestión, y su asociación con otros sistemas de gestión ambiental, como EMAS. De la revisión efectuada, se pone de manifiesto la necesidad de profundizar en temáticas que hasta el momento no han recibido la atención suficiente por parte de los investigadores, como la rápida expansión de las certificaciones en países emergentes impuesta directa e indirectamente por los países desarrollados, las dificultades en el proceso de adopción de las normas y la percepción sobre la implantación y certificación de los sistemas de gestión ISO por parte de diferentes grupos de interés, entre otros.
