Abstract

With the passage of time it was thought that there would be greater control of sports doping. In this way, it was betting on international policies that sought the prevention and sanction for the use of substances and methods in competitions that are carried out more and more continuously worldwide. The sport has been the victim of traps by criminal organizations that are dedicated to dirtying the sport, but the fight against doping is being based on excessive measures that can affect fundamental rights. Additionally, despite the regulatory changes, it is still not possible to find a harmony between international norms and the domestic law of many countries.
