The possibility to adapt learning material in a personalised way for each learner opens the door to new pedagogic models, whose practical implementation wouldnt be realistic without the proper technological support. The creation and deployment of this type of materials can rely on the use of specific frameworks created for this purpose, or on the application of generic specifications given with the adequate expressiveness. IMS Learning Design proposes a framework for the design and deployment of educative flows, supporting some of the existing techniques for adaptation. This article presents a recompilation of experiences based on the creation and instantiation of adaptive strategies based on the use of IMS Learning Design, and whose objective is the empiric determination of the specification expressiveness in the field of adaptation of learning material.
