Abstract

The educational community as a relational system is the result of the interactions between teachers, families and students. On many occasions, immigrant families avoid interacting with the educational center because they do not have the tools to do so, ceding educational responsibility to teachers, a reality that overwhelms the professional team that, faced with the new social reality characterized by cultural diversity, lacks the resources to meet the needs of your classroom. The present work proposes an intervention program, coordinated by the counselor of a center together with the tutor of the program, to encourage the involvement of immigrant fathers and mothers in the teaching-learning process of their sons and daughters. The program consists of three interrelated modules developed in the 2021- 22 school year, which we will detail later.
