Resumen
In the European Higher Education Area methodologies are used in the learning process to evaluate competences acquired by the students during their educational process. The development of strategies to integrate teaching objectives are essential to build knowledge and collaborative experiences for students and professors. The activity that was carried out evaluated competences and developed skills in two subjects in the second year of the Journalism Degree Programme (Press Writing and Communication I and Journalistic Research) at San Jorge University. The workshop held in the classroom included preparation prior to the activity, audiovisual resources (The Paper), a debate in the classroom (in Spanish and English) and the use of technological resources (Online platform) in individual work the students did. The analysis of the process contemplated preparation, development and evaluation of the activity from a qualitative and quantitative approach.
