The cancel culture exposes how social networks today have the capacity to transform problematic contentinto visible and judgmental community responses. Starting from the ability of users to cancel (micro)influencers for immoral, politically incorrect or dishonorable statements or behaviors, in this paper we conduct a critical review of the interpersonal drama between Naim Darrechi (TikTok), ElXocas (Twitch) and Schrödinger’sCat (YouTube) in relation to rape culture. The analysis leads towards the exploration of the spiral of cancellation and the consequent restoration of these Internet-born figures, whose online reputation and experience isdriven by noisy and reflexive micro-communities.
