Abstract
This paper aims to study the relationship between the categories of class and nation in José Ortega y Gasset´s though. We will focus on the period of time between 1907 and 1917, in which he evolves from Neokantism to Vital reason. We will see he shows a great influence of English Fabianism, and that it means the dissolution of the dichotomy working class-bourgeois class inside the duality that according to him is a nation: a compound of mass and elite.
