Zusammenfassung

In the current professional and working world, a prototype of a person trained in an integral way is being demanded more and more, enabling him to perform a variety of functions and be able to function in a variety of spheres. This implies not only the acquisition of knowledge and technical skills, but also training in emotional intelligence that encompasses the ability to relate to others and the management of their own inner life (Gardner, 2016). On the other hand, emotional education is being widely implemented in the educational curriculum (LOE, 2006 and LOMCE, 2013), since there are numerous studies that confirm that there is no single intelligence, but rather that they are a set of they are the ones that make up the individual, and that the emotional or social part that characterizes us is responsible, in part, for the achievements we achieve. In this work we have selected a sample of 28 students from the first year of Secondary School of an Integrated Music Center in which the students simultaneously study the general teachings of the Spanish curriculum and musical teachings. The general objective of this study is to know the degree of development of multiple intelligences of students and, in particular, the emotional level both interpersonally and intrapersonally and their academic performance in general and musical subjects.
