The Anthropocene a new geological era of human manufacture, it is characterized by the Global Change of the functioning of the Earth system. With climate change as its closest expression, it has plunged humanity into a situation of profound ecological, social, economic, cultural and institutional crisis, leading the human being to a situation of profound uncertainty. These circumstances of change, of uncertainty, are especially evident on the coast area, a space in which human activities and population are concentrated and intensified, and the effects of climate change are manifested in a palpable way. With the Costa del Sol Occidental as the object of this investigation, in this scenario of uncertainty, we understand that any process of integrated regeneration, must consider the human being as an integral part of nature. Therefore, we propose the adoption of the socio-ecosystem as a new model to be achieved on this coast. With these premises, Posidonia Space is the environment of this littoral, chosen as a laboratory for the experimental analysis of this new model.
