Resumo

The study takes a look on the influence of the East in the West and vice versa. Chinese cinema, of Western origin, receives the international recognition thanks to its symbolism and its great photograph. Wuxia cinema mixes tradition with symbolic messages and fantastic stories. The majestic costumes of the Chinese Court inspire dresses of western cinema. Chinese tradition, symbolism and costumes are reflected in the backgrounds and clothing of the characters of the monk and the female wizard of the video game Diablo III
