The use of rich plasma prepared in platelets (PRP) has greatly increased today and has spread to different clinical scenarios from ophthalmology, through cosmetic medicine used to erase the signs of age, to traumatology where its use focuses on especially for the recovery of joint and tendon injuries. These preparations have great expectations for repair and tissue regeneration, through the release of growth factors that are contained within the platelets. They are proteinaceous molecules whose function is to stimulate cell proliferation and survival, as they are able to regulate the cell cycle by binding to specific receptors. Knowledge of the extraction and the various uses of PRP, has been increasing every year, as it has many benefits and it is a completely natural treatment and in most cases obtained from the patient. Their methods of preparation are diverse, and usually requires sophisticatedandhigh costcommercialequipment and a largevolume of blood removed from the patient to get a small volume of plasma injectable preparation. That’s why in this paper seeks to achieve similar results to obtained by these commercial equipment, using a conventional laboratory centrifuge, in different conditions are tested by varying the speed and time, until archieving suitable PRP for clinical and therapeutic. The variables and results will be tested and compared with other commercial centrifuge model for such use, and in turn compared with results from other methods of obtaining different authors.
