Resumen

The different stages of growth in children represent a crucial development in bone mass time. It has been determined as one of the aspects that have greater influence on bone mass is determined by the physical-sport practice done in childhood. Currently, physical inactivity in children and youth is one of the major health problems worldwide. We have a society where children are increasingly attracted by sedentary activities such as watching television or playing computer games. These preferences sedentary nature bones exposed to smaller amounts of impacts and forces that benefit a greater bone development with higher values of bone mineral density (BMD) and bone mineral content (BMC). That is why, so the physical-sport appears as an ideal framework to strengthen bone mass during growth.
