Résumé
The Medical College Organization Working Group on Health Care at the End of Life and the Spanish Society for Palliative Care (SECPAL) have produced the Declaration "Medical Care End of Life: concepts and definitions", endorsed by the General Assembly of the Corporation held on September 18 in Madrid. This new document aims to clearly define terminology and end the confusion about these concepts, which are not always used correctly. This creates some confusion both in clinical practice and in the media and in society in general.
