Abstract

The Carnival of Cadiz can be considered a sociological and communications phenomenon singularity through their associations (especially coros, chirigotas and comparsas) that make it different to any carnival in the world. With the emergence of social networks, clusters have not missed the opportunity to become subjects and agents, while patients of viral revolution that has not stopped growing and more sophisticated a party that was born in the shadow of the oral tradition and today is unlikely to generate new cultural subgenres that merge, updated and modernized. This research aims to show the impact that social networks have generated in the party, making an analysis of the major websites, blogs and social networking profiles related to the Carnival of Cádiz in general and with certain authors and groups in particular
