Résumé
This article aims to analyze a topic of constant discussion within the political agenda in the midst of two world financial crises, the one of 2008 and the current one: the maintenance or redefinition of the welfare state from a case study of three states. The study begins with a brief look at the original and formative stories of well-being up to the present time, reflecting on the continuous paths of welfare reform that make this model the flagship of social policies, assessing how they have evolved after the crisis of the 2008-2015 and what prospects for evolution they now present with the impact of the global pandemic in 2020 and their action plans in response.
