In the tourism has appeared what is known as Web 2.0, allowing direct interaction between different companies, organizations and/or users, especially from social networks. In this sense, and in the tourism sector, hotels are the ones with the strongest position, because of their high interaction with internet. The purpose of this study is to analyze a series of factors related to the presence of the hotels in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) in what is known as Web 2.0 (social networks, online reput ation, reviews of tourist demand, etc.) and the extent of their online reputation. The methodology used for this research consisted in a review of similar written studies in other tourist destinations, and data collection in social media and website of TripAdvisor.
