Abstract
This study is focus on the Chapel of Santa Librada, (1515-1526) located in the Cathedral of Sigüenza, which is the masterpiece of Juan Soreda (1507-1539), who introduced the pictorial Renaissance seguntino. Thus, the objective is to answer some questions that have taken place around his work, the principal and the power relationship within the diocese, through the documentation and the hypothesis arising from the field work carried out in various Castilian archives and parishes.
