Resumen

Currently, due to a multitude of factors, there is a phenomenon that is on the rise, such as child-parent violence. Family therapy can act as a regulator of the coexistence processes of these families that present situations of violence among their members. The present work is a theoretical review to make known the dimensions of family coexistence that explain the use of violence by minors towards their parents or guardians. Based on this, an analysis is made about the factors that cause its appearance and maintenance, as well as the keys to understand it and be able to alleviate it through Music Therapy. Discipline that tries to reestablish family interactions (in this case) for the promotion of inter and intrafamily communication. Through an appropriate and therapeutic use of music. Music therapy is defined as the professional use of music and its elements as an intervention in medical, educational and daily environments with individuals, groups, families or communities, seeking to optimize their quality of life and improve their physical, social, communicative, emotional health and intellectual and their welfare. Research, practice, education and clinical instruction in music therapy are based on professional standards according to cultural, social and political contexts (World Federation of Music Therapy, 2011). One of the main conclusions of this work is that in the work in Music therapy with adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems, an individualized intervention (Mcferran, 2010) and systemic intervention (Lindahl & Thompson, 2017), taking into account the dimensions, is usually carried out. addressed and other determining factors for the use and consolidation of child-parent violence.
