Abstract

In the last years, Venezuelan migration has considerably increased, because of the po-litical, social and economic change taking place in the South American country, which is identified as the greatest burst of human mobility. Some of the countries that receive Venezuelans didn’t count on this crisis, and they reinforced their migration policy and applying selective migration policies, based in their sovereignty to decide who they allow to enter and stay in their territories, without considering the international guidelines of human rights, and the fact is that these persons still enjoy rights that are recognized by the international agreements, many of them signed and ratified by these countries
