Resumen

The intention of the present study is to determine what relation exists with sport injury (frequency and severity) and sport factors, in tennis players. The sample was composed by 63 players men of tennis pertaining to Sport Clubs of the Province of Alicante, with an average of age of 31 years (d.t. 8,93). A crosssectional and correlational design with a strategy of selective collection of data by means of survey designs was used. In order evaluate the injuries, an autoreport registry was elaborated. The results indicate that the time of practice and the sport experience are related to the frequency and with the injury severity. It is discussed on the relations of these variables, as well as on the applicability of the results and some conclusions of the study are indicated.
