Resumen

Undoubtedly, the issue of implementation of public policies relating to sedentary obesity and healthy has been paramount in these times, both globally and nationally (Chile), with the goal of fighting obesity, physical inactivity and poor nutrition of the population. is why the work presented below attempts to capture those programs and strategies that foster these habits and lifestyles, both in the international arena as well as in the country of study. The literature indicates that these have had little effect over time, as well as obesity levels have not decreased in children and sedentary lifestyle has not gone down. By the above, governments are now incorporating more aggressive strategies to control the levels of sodium, sugar foods, among others.
