Tratamiento efectuado en pacientes de Parkinson de la Asociación de Esclerosis Múltiple de Albacete

Abstract

Introduction: Parkinson is an untting chronicle disease which develops in a dierent way depending on the individual. It is important to identify the disorders produced by Parkinson disease and the therapies used to treat them, both at the first assessment and during the process where motor impossibilities appear. Purpose: The aim of this research is to depict and analyze the Parkinson disease treatment applied by specialist at the Albacete�s Multiple Sclerosis Association (n=13). Material y methods: The proceeding consisted on a questionnaire, the development with each participant and a content analysis. Results: 22 subcategories were identied together with 96 treatment indicators. Conclusions: The data show that therapists in the Association assess according to standardized values and other subjective assessment techniques and that they carry out multidisciplinary and individualized treatments focused on each patient�s needs. A systematic review of treatments and assessment methods used with Parkinson disease patients could help to create more objective therapeutic action protocols.
