Abstract

Software agents are a paradigm of development for software systems, they enjoy a very healthy moment and are widely used within the scientific community. Nevertheless there are some deficiencies at methodological and implementation level that have not been solved yet, or whose solution is susceptible to be improved. This is the case of the formalization and automatic implementation of evolutionary behaviors. This work presents a set of methods and implementation techniques oriented to develop agents enabled to adapt themselves, changing its behavior using techniques of evolutionary computation, whose success is based on its capacity of adaptation.
