Abstract
The main goal of this Thesis was to examine the personality domains of Five Factor Model (FFM) in Spanish child sexual abusers. The obtained results show that: the Spanish child sexual abusers present a higher level of Neuroticism and a lower level of Extraversion than the general population. The childhood abuse history seems to be more closely related to FFM domains than the type of offense. The culture seems have an important impact on the personality domains of child sexual abusers, mainly in Agreeableness, Openness and Conscientiousness. The executive functioning measures are useful for predict scores in different FFM domains of child sexual abusers. In view of the results obtained, it can be concluded that the FFM is an useful model to study the personality of Spanish child sexual abusers. These findings have important implications at the theoretical and practical levels.
