Resumen

This work aims to interpret the Theory of Education from the viewpoint of the philosophy of Zubiri. We employ a hermeneutical method that considers texts of first and second sources. As a result, we note that from the zubirian philosophy the Theory of Education is likely to redefine their own ontological bases, understood as a way to explore reality. Therefore, we can understand any educational act as a fact capable of study if previously we accept that is based on the "real truth". In conclusion, we propose a theory of Education away from the utopian education practices.
