The purpose of this study was to create, develop, and validate a questionnaire about perceived contextual intelligence in sport in a sample of Spanish athletes of different levels of expertise. 2091 athletes (1519 men and 572 women) participated in this study with ages ranging from 11 to 59 years (M = 20.8, SD = 6.14). Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated that the questionnaire presented a three-dimensional (anticipatory intelligence, tactical intelligence, and competitive intelligence) structure, and it allows us to obtain a value from the overall scale called Perceived Contextual Intelligence in Sport. The psychometric properties of validity and reliability for this instrument were excellent to be used in studies in which this dimension was of interest.
